We are looking for an experienced and professional Sales Operation Manager for our 260 Product Consultants in Modern Trade. You will be supported in your position by 10 Area Executive directly reporting to you.
Together with the Area Executive, you will be responsible for controlling and managing the PCs and, in close cooperation with the department managers for Power Tools, organize and control the presentation of goods, customer advice and the implementation of sales promotions.
You will be responsible for managing and controlling the sales of Power and Garden Tools in the stores of all Modern Trade customers (i.e. HomePro, Thaiwatsadu, DoHome, Global House) in Thailand.
As such, you will strengthen and expand Einhell’s market position and market share in Thailand. This role requires a dynamic, disciplined and results-oriented person, as well as strong leadership skills in managing a large team.
Main functions of the position:
- Developing strategies for product placement and control systems in Thailand’s Modern Trade Channels in line with overall corporate objectives.
- Supporting sale out and operations activities in Modern Trade stores.
- Supervising a team of 10 Area Executive with 260 Product Consultants.
- Build strong relationships with key department heads in leading Modern Tradestores to drive sales and help the support team effectively address and resolveissues.
- Develop new sales opportunities based on in-store market reports on pricing,new products, updated promotions, secondary displays, customer needs and trends.
- Drive in-store sales and market share by collaborating with Key Account Managers on in-store display implementation, product sales activities, competitive pricing, range implementation and planogram/scheme control through PCs and sales representatives.
Other Duties of the position:
- Stay up to date with the company’s product offerings and educate PC team on how to sell on competitive advantages on our products.
- Ensure too well manage in-store stock especially actively prevent and monitor slow-move stock in order to reduce returns.
- Setup, prepare, and monitor regular in-store sales execution reports, in order to provide marketing and sales management teams for market analysis for high-quality decision making in the future competition.
You should bring these key skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- 10 years of field sales experience, including PC implementation, significantly from the modern trade channel, i.e. HomePro, Thaiwatsadu, DoHome, Global House.
- Proven success record in driving in-store execution and manage large execution team.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
This would be favorable:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good English in writing and speaking is a plus.
