Our client is about to launch this global brand known for its superior technology in power tools for workshop and home improvement, and garden equipment. The company has just acquired major shares in a renown Thai market player, and is well on its way to attracting Thai craftsmen and do-it-yourselfers to its new and exciting line of products.

Main duties

  • Overall responsibility to achieve the sales targets as well as developing the market share
  • Implementation of a sales and marketing strategy in a goal-oriented manner
  • Driving the negotiations with decision makers of traditional and modern trade customers
  • Develop and define the long-term product range and pricing strategy jointly with the MD
  • Constant monitoring market and competition, which includes making derived decision proposals

Other duties

  • Creation and submission of the sales budget
  • Support and execute marketing activities
  • Strategic development of the sales and marketing organization
  • Continuous operational expansion of the sales force
  • Maintain & Develop key decision makers

Key skills required

  • An open and winning personality with strong negotiation and team-building and leadership skills
  • A pioneering spirit with a high degree of self-motivation and enthusiasm for sales
  • Robustly analyzing and implementing strategies and realizing new opportunities for expansion
  • Ability to make decisions with a high degree of responsibility
  • Excellent English providence in reading and writing

Other required skills

  • Experience in working overseas or at international companies
  • Degree in Business Administration, Management or related related areas
  • A financial or commercial focus on education a plus
  • Experience in B2B sales and key account management, combined with a knowledge of the Thai non-food market
  • A sound technical background or professional experience of great advantage
  • Authorized to work in Thailand

They will work closely with the HQ in Germany to build and implement a market strategy that will help the group to reach their goal of 2 billion Euro turnover.
